CPO Course

 Certified Pool Operator Course

 
This two day course is the latest in training for those who are responsible for operating clean, safe and efficient facilities.  In-depth instruction is provided on filtration, disinfection, water testing and treatment, design considerations, facility management, risk management, facility trouble shooting and much more.  The course is specifically designed to meet the needs of those working in public, hotel, condo, semi-public and municipal pool or water park facilities in the State of South Carolina.  This course includes an additional section that is specific to the study of the South Carolina Regulation 61-51 and your facility's swimming pool.  You will learn to recognize important aspects of this code and how it applies to the facility swimming pool.

When:  Thursday, March 27          8:30am - 5:00pm
              Friday, March 28               8:30am - 3:00pm

Place:  Belfor Property Restoration, 7629 Southrail Road, North Charleston, SC 29420

Cost:    $350 members; $400 non-members (Includes course material and exam)

Our hearts and thoughts go out to our friends at Woodbridge in light of the recent fire.  We're gathering donations for the displaced families and received the following wish list.

2014 Diamond Awards

2014 Diamond Awards  
Celebrating Excellence in the Multi-Family Housing Industry 

The Charleston Apartment Association's Diamond Awards is a yearly celebration recognizing excellence in the industry.  The Diamond Awards are based on four C's of Commitment to Service, Community Quality, Champion Team Effort and Creative Application of Knowledge and Skills.  With the four C's in mind, members are asked to nominate property management professionals who excel in these areas.  A written statement for each individual explaining why an award is warranted is required.  Awards will be presented at the Diamond Awards Ceremony on March 14, 2014 at the Francis Marion Hotel.  All nominees are required to attend.
